NEUROLOGY
Neurologist is an expert from modern medicine who has done super
specialization in Neurology. He carries out detailed neuorological
assessment of the child. He helps in ongoing evaluation problems
and assists in deciding ancillary measures and elective surgery
when ever indicated.
PAEDIATRIC ORTHOPAEDIC
Paediatric Orthopaedic surgeon’s role is crucial to
this unit. He thoroughly evaluates the case and coordinates
with O.T. & P.T. as well as with Homoeopathic doctors
& other relevant experts. He carries out corrective and
restorative surgeries whenever necessary.
OPTHALMOLOGY

HOW WE DO IT
NOVEL INTEGRATED APPROACH :

After initial screening and orientation,
a detailed history is taken by qualified
Homoeopathic physician.
Subsequently patient is seen by
Homoeopathic consultant
Where ever applicable, psychiatrist,
Neurologist, Paediatrician, orthopaedic,
ophthalmologist evaluate the child.
With the help of clinical psychologist
& other experts comprehensive assessment
is carried out which helps in deciding
the mode of therapy.
Therapeutic approaches may be varied
such as play therapy, behavioural alterations
(individually
or in group) and other forms of psychotherapy.
Homoeopathic medical treatment
is provided by a team of competent Homoeopathic
physicians. As & when required,
Paediatrician or Neurologist is consulted.
The family receives counselling
and necessary advice. Speech therapy and psychological
testing services are also made available.
Children with Neurological &
deve-lopmental disorders are treated by the team
of Homoeopathic Physi-cian, Neurologist,
Occupational therapist & Physio-therapist.
Routine & relevant biochemic
investigations are carried out at our pathological
Laboratory.
We are running special schools
for slow learners, Autism, M.R. etc. As & when necessary,
child is refered to the school from center.

B. SPECIAL SCHOOL FOR SLOW LEARNERS
Introduction:
School cater to slow learners who are defined as children having
IQ between 70 - 80. These children suffer from varieties of
perceptual difficulties as well as emotional and behavioural
problems. They require holistic multidisciplinary approach for

Concept
It is based on strong philosophical foundation of HOLISTIC-PSYCHOEDUCATIONAL
APPROACH: SYMPHONY.
This is an innovative approach based on integration of holistic
concept propounded by Dr. Samuel Hahnemann, founder of Homoeopathy
& JEAN PIAGET’S concept of CHILD DEVELOPMENT.

Activities:
Curriculum is based on the comprehensive assessment by the multidisiciplinary
team. Based on overall appreciation, the child is admitted in
one of the 3 batches.
1. Junior
2. Middle
3. Senior
Deserving students from senior batch are integrated later in
the NIOS batch
Students who find NIOS difficult are given pre-vocational inputs
and further guided for vocational training.
Teaching programme comprises of IEP (Individualized Educational
Programme) and group programmes. Educational Programme includes:

Regular workshops for parents
