Intervention
in Mainstream Schools: Private as well as Municipal |

We regularly conduct screening camp
in municipal & mainstream school to identify children with
learning disorders & medical health problems.
We conduct orientation workshop for teachers and Parents to
identify children with mental health problems & L.D.
FREE SCREENING CAMP :
For children with Mental Health Problems & Neuro-logical
Dis-orders. During this camp, eminent consul-tants of these
fields are giving their services like : Psychiatrist, Neurologist,
Paediatrician, Special Edu-cationist, Psychologist, Occupational
therapist, Physiotherapist, Remedial teacher, Homoeopath &
Yoga therapist. All the children are examined by the relevant
con-sultants of the panel & parents are given free con-sultation
& education regarding diagnosis, prognosis future options
& various modes of therapeutic interventions, educa-tion
and rehabilitation. OBJECTIVES
Enhancing our objective of early diagnosis, early intervention
and community service
Multidisciplinary panel of experts provide consultation and
education regarding diagnosis, prognosis, future options, various
modes of therapeutic intervention, education and rehabilitation
We distribute free educational materials
Since January 2003, this huge mobile van visits ‘M’
ward & ‘N’ ward.
IT CATERS TO APPROXIMATE SLUM POPULATION OF AROUND 3 LACS.
This huge van is almost like a bus quite spacious with good
interior, it has 2 cabins, examination table, and reception
and dispensing unit.
Child care team comprises of homoeopathic doctor, special educator,
occupational therapist, psychologist, social worker.
Team carries of early identification
and holistic intervention in children in slum areas.
We carry out free screening camps
in the school as well as in community at large.
Parents are given home programmes,
which is periodically reviewed by the team.
We conduct awareness camps on
disability.
We also conduct orientation lectures, workshops, for mainstream
school teachers.
